This Shopping Bag is made of Sabaii grass. This grass is a perennial grass which grows in West Bengal & Orissa Mayurbhanj area primarily. Sabaii Grass dyed in Azo free dyes.

This floor mat is made of pure cotton yarns handwoven with care.

This set is meant for the corridor to add an aesthetic appeal while giving the feet a plush feel when you enter or leave your home. The shopping bag can behung on a hook by the door so when you’re going out of the home, you don’t forget to carry it and save up on the unnecessary plastic waste.

The craftswomen from 180 households are working only in sabaii grass now, making their ends meet through this project. The women crafts-group undergo trainings with our team, learning various advanced skills as new groups emerge with more basic trainings and thus more self-employ ability.

Handwoven with care by rural women of remote village in Sitapur in U.P is creating a source of income generation for them who have no other source of income apart from this skill they learnt through a SKILL & MAKE IN INDIA PROJECT in a CSR sponsored project executed by KADAM.
